At the BTI, horn players of all ages & levels gather under the tutelage of Barry Tuckwell and an accomplished faculty.  Together, they experience the joy of playing the horn in a supportive, non-competitive environment that nurtures both the performer and the person.

Participants learn from the faculty and each other, both onstage and in the extensive personal interaction throughout our days together.  Enrollment is limited to ensure personal attention and an intimate experience, with a participant to faculty ratio of 4:1.

The BTI displays a wealth of experience in its faculty - solo performers, orchestras musicians, effective teachers.  Participants benefit from intensive interaction with Barry Tuckwell and each faculty member.
