One of the inherent benefits of the Barry Tuckwell Institute is spending so much quality time with Barry Tuckwell and the BTI faculty.  In addition to covering all program activities throughout the week, the tuition for residential participants includes all meals from dinner on Tuesday evening through lunch on Sunday afternoon.  If you choose not to live with the group on campus, tuition still includes meals with the group in order to encourage complete participation with the faculty and rest of the group.

Housing is provided in Grand Mesa Hall, one of Colorado Mesa University’s newer dormitories featuring group living.  You may select single or double occupancy accommodations, or waive accommodations altogether:

Individual rooms, both singles and doubles, are arranged around a shared sitting room with television, and share bathroom facilities (approximately four to a bath).  They are furnished with towels, sheets and a light blanket.

It is possible to extend your stay at Grand Mesa Hall by a day on either end.  Should you wish to do so, please submit your request as early as possible.  We’ve also been known to include non-horn-playing spouses with the group; please contact us if you are interested in more details about this possibility.

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $100 is required with your application.  The balance of the tuition and any additional charges are due by May 1st.  If you cancel before June 10th, the tuition, less the deposit, it returnable.  You may want to consider travel insurance in the event that you may need to cancel after June 10th.

Special Edition BTI Cap

In 2012 we will again be offering a special edition BTI baseball cap.  You may order one with the BTI logo on the front of the cap for $25, or have your first name embroidered on the back of the cap for $30.  To order, please indicate your desire on the application.
